Our world has a perverted concept of Love and that has
birthed man’s entire calamity. A concept of love that’s entirely self-seeking
– it only has raised an appalling generation with cynical outlook to everything.
I’d put forth the preceding above from a broader
perspective, but then locked in the confines of Valentine and our
relationships.
Amidst a list of other things, I’d teach my daughter’s the true definition of Love.
Amidst a list of other things, I’d teach my daughter’s the true definition of Love.
Personally, I define Love away from the surge
of emotion’s
vapour – a die-hard altruistic decision to make commitment is my own
word for it. Anything away from it comes in the confines of Attraction,
Infatuation, and then Lust. That’s why for me, I hold a belief that someone who
doesn’t know you hardly can Love you.
It’s a man who does know your assets and liabilities then
takes the Decision to take responsibility for it all that can Love and Commit
to you.
Basically, Love at first sight as it’s referred to ain’t
really Love. It’s nothing more than an attraction that’s tentative. So the
firsts of “I Love you” that comes off anyone should be related to with indifference
until it’s proven over time.
He just saw your Gucci necklace dangling around your neck,
and your fashionable looks, your amos pants, and he felt he liked you. I
recommend Rebecca’s response as she did sight Isaac from a distance. She took a
veil and covered herself. That’s more like you’ve got to prove this thing first
before we begin to share deeper levels of intimacy.
Everyone’s more or less an actor who costumes off
her home with impressive looks that gets you drooling at her sight. But I’d
fess-up, it’s not love that you feel at that instant – it’s an attraction.
You hardly would love her until the vapour of emotions within you sublimes, and
you discover her contents. Only then would you be able to take a decision whether
to Love her.
I’m not depleting your chances with the ladies I’m only
saying you shouldn’t log on too fast because you’re expected to mingle intimacy
with commitment.
Love isn’t just a feeling – lust also feels the same way,
it’s safer defining it as a Decision to make Commitment come hell or high
waters. That’s why with a child or not Abraham would stay with Sarah, Jesus
didn’t divorce the church, because he’s made a decision to commit. Be a die-hard promoter of Love mingled with commitment and you'd lead a happy Relationship Life.
